Self-Evaluation Form
Builder
Self-evaluation is now a key element within the Ofsted school inspection
framework. Schools are required to complete and maintain an
online self-evaluation form identifying their own strengths
and weaknesses and any subsequent appropriate action they have
taken.
The school's self-evaluation (SEF) is based on evidence collected
from performance management, other school monitoring including
pupil performance data and local authority monitoring.
Managing your Self-Evaluation
Form
The Self-Evaluation Form (SEF) Builder from Derventio Solutions
and Shireland Learning, forms part of the School Improvement
& Performance (SchoolIP) suite of educational products.
Written by British teachers, this user friendly software will
provide you with far greater management and control, transforming
your school's self evaluation process.
The SEF mirrors the actual forms produced by Ofsted, but with
subtle advantages such as the ability to store supporting documentation
and evidence against the relevant questions. The SEF is a fluid
document which will continually evolve from input by any number
of contributors.
Access may be controlled by assigning rights where appropriate
to users, for answering questions, reviewing the responses and
final approval ready for your Ofsted submission. All of this
information is displayed to the user in management information
charts, to provide simple and easy reference to your SEF.
