We wanted a partner to work with who cared about schools and shared our passion for making technology work for us. Derventio are just such a partner. Together we are hoping to provide the perfect fusion of technology and school improvement methodology.

The online SEF has allowed us to have a more collaborative, joined up approach to critically reviewing the current position of the school. It has enabled Governors and staff to update the SEF at regular intervals so cutting my workload as Head Teacher, whilst distributing leadership and developing a common, shared understanding of key actions needed for school improvement and raising children’s standards.

SEF Builder has proved to be invaluable to us as a staff. The whole procedure of completing the SEF is more organised than it has ever been and actually makes it much easier to manage. There are some excellent tools such as email reminders and the ability to refer to previous versions that make the whole process straightforward and simple.

After reviewing several school management toolkits, we chose SchoolIP because we were impressed with its clear framework to support implementation of review processes and dovetailing with the Ofsted framework. In addition we liked the bespoke school development planning tool. SchoolIP is intuitive to use and has several features which support managers in embedding quality assurance into a school.
