New Self-Evaluation Form
Ofsted has introduced new arrangements for the inspection
of state-maintained schools from September 2009. We have
incorporate these changes in our latest version of the SEF
Builder module.
The new self evaluation form (SEF) is formatted to help
schools briefly summarise their evaluations. The emphasis
is placed on justifying as concisely as possible the
grades which the school decides it merits.
The SEF mirrors the evaluation schedule of judgements
used by inspectors. Schools are strongly encouraged to
use the grade descriptors in this document when doing
their self-evaluation.
Workshop/Training Day
SchoolIP users are invited to
attend regional workshops, which highlight best practices for
using the software and offer an introduction to each of the
modules.
These training workshops are free to attend and offer a
introductory course in using the Self-Evaluation Form,
School Development Plan, Staff Performance Monitor and
Individual Learning Planner modules.
Schools who are interested in attending these events
should contact our support team on 01332 869420 to
find out about our next event in your area.
