Staff Performance Monitor

The initial staff performance planning meeting is used to identify a number of objectives and priorities as set out in the SDP, along with any agreed relevant staff development and training needs for the teacher under review.

Following the lesson observation, the subsequent performance management review meeting, which has been combined with the initial planning meeting will result in an agreed statement between the line manager (observer) and the reviewee.

ArrowImproving your Staff Performance

The Staff Performance Monitor (SPM) from Derventio Solutions and Shireland Learning, forms part of the School Improvement & Performance (SchoolIP) suite of educational products. Written by British teachers, this user friendly software will provide you with far greater management and control, transforming your school’s staff performance review process.

The SPM provides you with the power to observe, monitor and set objectives for your staff. The SPM is tailored towards establishing a culture of responsibility for the ongoing improvement of the individual and institution, with evidence gathering and class room observations amongst its many features.

The SPM incorporates a constant cycle of staff performance review which is initiated through a meeting between a staff member and their line manager. This meeting is used to identify objectives for the coming period of review, plan classroom observations and discuss any relevant support issues.
